Battery voltage value.

Hi Guys,
Has anyone gone to the battery voltage screen and watched the value.
On my 2017, it is very weird.
Idle and giving gas in P I have 14 to 14.2
Driving, idle 14 to 14.2 driving giving gas it goes down to 12.8-12.9V
On a "normal" car the voltage stays around 13.8-14.5 V

I would be interested to have your thoughts and what your cars read.
Thanks

I have very simillar values SQ4 2016
I also was old scool about 13.8 - 14.0 V
The new batteries have highly sophisticated electronics. The know/remember the capacity and charge when necessary. Otherwise they keep it low.
But yes, it is strange, that the voltage jumps up, when releasing the gas pedal.
Asked my dealer and he confirmed, everything ok.

For me in normal driving, with my foot on the accelerator its reads around 14.3 - 14.5. Of course given I have the diesel that may be the reason for the higher voltage.

Thanks Richu,
Mine is a Diesel 2017, and it seems to react like yours.
@kns8y, it is a Diesel too, it is only over 14V for the 1st few kilometres, to recharge the battery after the starter motor usage, but then goes down to 12.9V, it only goes up when I release the throttle.

This is weird, which year is yours? they might have change the way they charge the battery.

Thanks for your tests anyway.
