Trunk Spoiler

Finally got around to installing the trunk spoiler over the weekend. The project took about 5-10 minutes to complete.

I def think the car looks much better and more sporty with the spoiler add on.

Looks great. What kind of spoiler is it? Did you install it yourself?

its the direct car toy version. i believe formula dynamics also sells this version now. the delivered price was $620 painted (ouch).

yes i installed myself, its a simple stick on and uses double sided tape, takes about 5 minutes.

I like the spoiler look a lot, however I can't bring myself to pay over $600 for it especially since its a lease.

yeah i hear ya, the $600 is high for a piece of plastic, but whatever.

these guys are currently working on another version of the spoiler, the alternate version will go across the trunk lid like the novitec version. i know many guys prefer the full length spoiler so that is currently in the works according to DCT.

initially i was hesitant about getting this spoiler, but after seeing it on the car and fully installed i def like it and i prefer this style over the full length version which flares downward once it gets across the trunk lid. the spoiler def adds a little more sportyness to the car without going overboard like some of those huge wing / spoilers that look like wings on a boeing 787..

I think it looks really nice, but sounds like there must be a discounted price sitting out there or prices were increased from my last look.

Direct Car Toys (painted) = $669 + shipping
Formula Dynamics (painted) = $795 + shipping (-10% for sale next week)

$619 painted, delivered pricing

if you really want one, let me know and i will see if i can get you the lower price, otherwise both websites are correct pricing for that spoiler.

like i said DCT will have a new spoiler soon which resembles the novitec spoiler, its more of a flat spoiler which goes across the trunk and then flares inward.

With mine being a lease, I can't see spending more than $500 on a spoiler. If someone finds one for that price point, I'd be interested then.
