Front Air Conditioner Vents Not Working

Anyone else ever have this happen?

Front air conditioner vents (both the ones for your body/face and feet) aren't working.

Air is only coming out of the front defrost vents.

I pressed ever button I could under climate, but are only getting air out of the front defrost.

Happen to anyone else? Going to call dealership anyway.

Yes. It is common problem.
Either
Software if you didn't get the latest update. I did but didn't solve mine.

Diverter valve is stuck. There is a cable on drivers side that gets in the way. A campaign to put a clip around wires which normally solves the problem.

Or actuator burns out due to cables blocking diverter.

I had the cables tied back and found actuator was bad. Dealer replaced - 2 hours of work and good as new now.

Did your issue get solved? I just picked my Q4 up due to a cooling fan issue and driving home the A/C is only in Defrost mode and I can't change it. Going back in the morning. What a pain in the a!

Yep got it fixed. Known issues and they had to do something with the wires by the driver side foot panel.

Would have been nice if this "known issue" was fixed one of the 4 other times my car has been in for service during the first year SMH.

Two possibilities spring to mind. I guess the blower control switch to the left of the vents might be faulty. Secondly, there's a relay in the rear fuse box that you could check. And i suggest you to go to AC repair miami beach, they help you in decent manner .

Welp... 2 months later and same problem again. Back to the dealership tomorrow.

I'm so over this car and the trips to the dealership.
