So I just got a preowned 2017 ghibli with 25k miles - the brakes make squealing noise from the front brakes on slow speed like stopping for a light or stop sign or pulling into the garage ... and it’s driving me nuts — should get new brakes? Brake oil? Any suggestions will be much appreciated - I love the car and it’s ride and sound but the slow speed brake noise breaks my heart ...

You should check if there are new or worn brake pads/rotors.
I presume the noise is not the wear sensor?
Conversely, if they were not bedded properly you can get a squeal from the pads which was common with early years of this car. Also some aftermarket pads were prone to make the noise.

When my 2014 was brand new, I had a little bit of the squealing and went through the bedding procedure referenced on this forum. I still have original pads and rotors on car with no squealing at all.

Any recommendations on which brakes to put in -? Can you share a link for the product? I am just thinking I will put in new brakes to fix the noise -

There are a number of choices that work well if you search the forum for brake pads, (be careful as they are different for base and S/SQ4).
In the attached thread is a supplier in NJ that has very good prices on brake pads and rotors ... where I bought mine (Maserati OEM) for when I need them.
Scuderia is also an excellent source. Car Parts Online | Performance Car Parts | Scuderia Car Parts
Formula Dynamics is also used by some on this forum. / / / FORMULA DYNAMICS - MASERATI & FERRARI SPECIALISTS / / /

Today there are many places to get pads and/or rotors for the Ghibli.

Not sure what you mean by "brake oil". Pad will squeal or chatter if they are not properly lubed on the back of the plates or if they are a hard material, especially ceramic. That said, I just installed Formula Dynamics low-dust pads this morning. No brake wear light and no squeal. I did bed them in with a half dozen 70-to-10 stops and then the cool down as recommended. Too soon to make any recommendation on dust or long term performance but the brakes feel great and I am optimistic.

That’s great... I will be getting new pads installed this week and also getting brake fluid flushed (recommended at 25k) - and then will bed them .. will keep you all posted - thanks for sharing your experience...
