Hello! I have a question:
My 2014 Ghibli threw this code at me...I'm assuming it's for low coolant-so I added about half gallon (It needed it)
but the code is still on...so my question is: do I have to clear this code to turn off the engine light? or is this code for something else? I noticed yesterday that my AC/heater came on all by itself after I noticed the engine light on, but no codes other than the one shown here...any advice would be most helpful..

You have to clear any old codes. Your A/C likely came on to assist woth cooling as fans kick in when AC is on. Your temperature was probably getting quite high. I would keep an eye on why you had collant loss and keep checking your level regularly. Likely there's a leak somewhere.

Actually, the AC kicked on 5 min. after starting the car...I'm wondering if I might be having a thermostat issue?
but as for the low fluid...I haven't checked it in a while...my bad.

I'd check coolant level and see if engine is warming up properly.

Did you ever figure out the solution to this. My p0128 comes and goes.

Yes I did...needed about a half gallon of coolant...and I did have to clear the code for it to go.
