Consumer Reports take a quick first drive look at the 2014 Maserati Ghibli. The first thing that Consumer Reports notes is that this Maserati is built to be more attainable for more people. No longer do you have to spend upwards of $100,000 for a Maserati, the Ghibli starts at just $75,000.
The Ghibli has great steering feedback, and a nice interior with beautiful materials. The UConnect system which is sourced from Chrysler is a great infotainment system.
The most exciting thing about the car has to be the engine though. The engine is sourced from Ferrari and sounds amazing. The video gives you a great listen to the difference in the exhaust note between the normal driving mode and the sport mode.
Take a look at the video for yourself.
