I'm going to move to Seattle this year (october) and planning to buy ghibli there.

What are the general delivery times for ghibli after placing a custom order? If I plan to get the car in october, what would be the best time to place the order?

If I were you, I'd place an order now - but for a 2015. They are due late September/early October according to my dealer.

Agreed and while there will be changes to the 15 production should be running well and you should get your car when promised..............please advise when you find our what is new on the 15's e.g., contrast stitching.......

If you what to get one in October order by May/June to get the delivery date. And it will be a 15. That's what I'm doing too.
