Hi all, This has been a little annoying over the years for me. My car is a 2014 UK version and every time I get in the car, I have to press accept on the stereo in order for the main screen to come up. Not sure if this is global thing or just UK and Europe? Has anyone sucessfully coded this out using AlfaOBD or similar?
I am worried about my screen getting worn out as it's the same place every time you have to press.

This has been raised before. I don't believe its confined to the UK or Europe as my 2016 asks for accept on every start...(Australia)

Unless I've missed something in latter threads I also believe it isn't something that can be over ridden (or changed with OBD)

Valid point on screen wear as it has been a concern (early models) and a problem where the top layer of the screen can delaminate (become opaque & blister in severe cases)...I don't seem to have any problems, at the moment anyway. What does annoy me is the 'stop/start' function that needs resets after every (it's tempramental actually & can be off for a few starts & will then turn back on...weird but a common problem on earlier models) start. I coded this out of my VW Golf easily but no luck so far with the Ghibli...if anyone does have an update on this would be interested to know.

If you do find a way to disable the 'accept'...please share.

Cheers...Mark

Just as an extra, mine was in at Maserati service this past week (it doesn't usually visit them for anything) as they agreed to replace the sunroof front sealing strip. Its had a habit of coming 'unstuck'. Anyway I had a sit in a 2023 Ghibli Trofeo & what hit me first was how nice ( & huge) the infotainment screen is now & how dated the pre 2017 models (mine included) look.

Apart from that & some minor seat/hearest differences...interior is 99% the same as the release model 10 years ago.
