I am looking to purchase a used 2017 SQ4 from a non Maserati dealer. I am interested in purchasing an extended warranty from a third party provider. Many of the warranty companies do not cover a Maserati. I received a quote from Endurance but it was over $10K for 5 years with a deductible.

Can anyone recommend a company that offers a quality extended warranty program?

Thank you - John

Did you try your nearest Maserati dealer to see what they can offer you? I purchased my Ghibli from a Lexus dealership and I was able to purchase a third party warranty through my Maserati dealer that I use. They did do my PPI so they knew that the car was in excellent shape. I'm not sure if that is why they were able to sell me the warranty. The warranty they sold me is Nesna Diamond Care Protection which is actually a Mitsubishi warranty underwritten by Nissan. The owner of the dealer also owns a Mitsubishi dealer and that is why they are able to sell the warranty is what was explained to me. I personally know the Service Manager at the dealership as well and he stated that they never have any issues with Nesna and they pay for what the car needs. I just pay a $100 deductible. So I purchased it from them after I had bought a warranty from another company that I didn't trust.

There is also the Maserati Extra10 warranty which is powertrain only and it will cover a Maserati for up to 10 years old that was properly maintained by a Maserati dealer. For that warranty, you do you have to take your car in for an inspection before they will sell it to you. The problem though is it is somewhat pricey. My dealership quoted me $3300 a year for it. According to them, you can purchase it in one year increments or can purchase multiple years all in one shot. With your car being a 17, you should be able purchase the Extra10 warranty for coverage up until 2027. This is how my local dealer explained it to me.

I would recommend trying your local dealer to see what they can offer you.
