Hey Forum,

I took the car today to get new paint on the wheels here in Dubai. The owner of the workshop is a really good sales guy. He said that the colour of the car will fade over time so I should get paint protection + the leather seats will crack and I should get his treatment done. He is the official Ferrari/Maserati refurbishing guy and has a proper set up. Both jobs will cost about $700 total. Just curious to know if anyone got this done. Not sure how badly all this is needed. He also quoted the following:

Shift Paddles in Carbon Fibre - $327
Maserati Logo on the seat headrests in a contrast colour - $550

I paid about $1750 US for the following, ($3000 seems high ... but maybe not for Belgium)

Windows coated all around (3M Crystalline and HuberOptik) to reduce heat transfer and UV, (which damages leather seats). Big difference immediately noticed after I installed.

Exterior/Interior with Gtechniq Professional protective coating (7-year warranty).

What I regret a little, is not getting the protective film (like XPEL) for parts of the car that are prone to chips or sandblasting by wheel wells.
