Hello. I thought you guys and gals might enjoy these few videos I threw together when we had our Ghibli S Q4 model for a few days. We should be getting our Demo any day now, I am so excited!

Sorry I do not know how to embed the video right in the forum so the links will have to do. Many thanks.

Great finds, these will help us get familiar with the Ghibli, something everyone should watch before going to see one at the dealer.

Here's the video's embedded

Cool - is the demo a Q4? If so, how about doing a "test drive" to a local dyno. The "data geeks" (myself included) are dying to see what the Maser can put down on the rollers... :D You'd be a hero on this forum!

Thank you and good news, we just got our first Ghibli in today, its a Grigio Maratea with a combo Cuoio Interior. Its beautiful!
Great !! Could you please post some pics of the grigio maratea ghibli ? I think we have all had a lot of confusion and mystery about the colour since different photos with what seems like a different colour all seems to be referred to as grigio maratea.

Will be great to get pictures of the colour from the official maserati dealer !!
Thank you and welcome to the forum !:)

Now that there is a live sighting of the Grigio Maratea

Can you tell us if it has an eggplant or purplish undertone? Or is it a true gray? Still hard to tell with the pics.

I am in Houston still anxiously awaiting the opportunity to test drive a Q4.

Wow, this color looks quite different in different lighting conditions.

I really dislike those wheels on a $85k car. Are those the standard 18" Vulcano or the 19" Poseidone?

It actually has more of a brown undertone, I do not detect any purple with my eyes, it's more like a metallic grayish brown , hope that helps.

I agree - those wheels are just plain and boring = awful.

This car should have 19" as standard (as a minimum) or even 20" just like the Jag XF has.

autobytel review of the ghibli

The Italians build some beautiful cars don't they? Problem is they are not that affordable! Companies like Ferrari and Maserati make some stunning cars that deliver world class performance. For 2014 Maserati has inched closer to what your wallet can afford with the Ghibli which is an excellent value proposition. The 2014 Maserati Ghibli starts at $65,600.

As with any Maserati you are expecting something that is very visually appealing to the eye. The Ghibli certainly checks that box with the aggressive front end, tucked reverse grille, and sharp headlights. The aluminum multi-spoke wheels are gorgeous. The Ghibli is essentially a shorter version of the Quattroporte sedan. Out back is the familiar rear end with a dual exhaust system.

Under the hood there are 2 engine options. The Ghibli S 3.0 liter twin-turbo V6 makes 410 horsepower and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. 0-60 MPH goes by in 4.8 seconds and the sound is incredible. The engine was designed by Maserati but built by Ferrari.
