Runs down under the bellhousing so it almost looks like a rear main seal leak. My local dealer showed me another Ghibli that was on a lift which has this same condition and said most suffer from it. Seems hard to believe Maserati hasn't come up with a fix.
I called Maserati customer support for assistance and they assigned a case number and the regional tech rep is discussing the situation with the dealership personnel. I'm a bit skeptical of receiving a constructive response, but holding out some hope
The Maserati rep called me back and, as you would unfortunately expect, said the dealership told him the condition is "normal". Customer support will not even get the factory technical rep involved, which even a Honda dealer would do!
