my passenger side latch keeps on unlocks it.

while i drive around i see “hood open” sign and when i pull over, i noticed one side of the hood is not completely locked. when i press the hood i hear click and it locks but it just unlocked it again.
anyone have an idea? maybe bad latch?

Hi, it could be either a bad latch, or the control cable is to tight or not properly in place.
Have a look if they are symetrical when the hood is open.

In the wood you have rubber screws quite big it it is to adjust a bit the closing

You can turn them by hand going up or down
Have a look maybe it is just that

This cable seems sometimes misplaced or too short. Had an issue on my brand new ghibli, the lash wouldn’t allow the hood to open. Had to go to service to fix it.... nice for a 100k car
