Here is an update for those that have looked into this thread. Bottom line, the dealership is taking care of me. They obviously want to get me in my car but were having a hard time getting info from logistics/the port. It's in no way the dealership's fault.
Here's the deal. At the port, the car would not start. Usually not a big deal as the battery can discharge a bit depending on how long the car was sitting. This apparently happens on a regular basis and the solution is to just swap the battery out for a new one. So they did that and the car still did not start. So with obvious electrical issues they have engineers working on the car. Before I could even get out "I don't want that car" the GM told me he was uncomfortable selling me that particular car and would locate me another one. He has since done so (with all my requirements included) and secured it for me. While we wait for the other car, they put me in a loaner for my patience and inconvenience.
All in all, great customer service from the dealership even if it means I need to wait a little longer to take delivery of my car. The car also has an additional $2000 in options and said they would honor the original deal price. All in all, I'm happy with the way they are handling things.
