I think it looks a bit tacky and out of place. I know I drive a Ghibli, don't need to be reminded with a big chrome logo under the nav screen.

Does anyone have ideas to either 1) remove it, or 2) cover it up?

I believe it's actually molded into the plastic, so don't want to damage anything.

Thinking about buying some black tape, or some sort of black cover.

Why? The model script on the dashboard is a Maserati staple, all cars have it, and they kept it since their first road car.

why don't you just plastidip it so it doesn't stand out as much? I feel like removing it or putting tape on it is just devaluing the vehicle. Im all about that clean and sleep look but putting tape over it is a bit overkill.

Oh, there is a Ghibli badge on the dash!

Respectfully ....I'm too enthralled driving my fine car, enjoying the performance and handling, to notice or have any concern with subtle things, like the dash badge. Or maybe that I've been in my "Ghibli" for 3 years now, and "proud" of all the positive factors, so I don't feel any need to fret the small car identity details.
