I am receiving a dash indicator that my driver's side front turn-signal is out sporadically. Sometimes I get the indicator and other times I can drive the car without any notice. Yet other times the notice will appear and disappear during the same road-trip. I placed the car in park with the indicator on the dash and verified on one occasion the light was out. Other times the light was working and all three lights in the headlight are flashing normal.

The dealer indicates the entire headlight needs replaced. However, I am wondering if it could be something else like a short or if there is another control module in the car. Any help is appreciated.
