Hi All

Is the front caliper bigger on the S Q4 model? I just got a set of aftermarket wheels. It was tested by the seller with a local Ghibli to make sure it will clear.
Installed them yesterday, the front wheel scratched the caliper while the technician spin it. I wasn't very happy.
Now I had to get temporary universal spacers, order a set of custom spacers (5mm to fit both the hub and the wheel), and extended bolts to make it fit. Also with a scrapped caliper. The car is only 2 weeks old!! Not happy.
But the wheels do look awesome on the car.

So here is what i know.

The Standard Ghibli Front side disc is 345mm x 28 mm and for SQ4 its 360mm x 32mm and the front calipers are 4 piston on the standard and 6 piston on the SQ4 ...

So seemingly i think they might be a bit bigger...

It was bigger on SQ4 until the 2015 model. I was told all ghiblis since 2015 now have the same brakes as SQ4 ... This also solved the noise problem on (apparently) non SQ4

I have a 2014 Maserati ghibli s Q4
