Key fob range

In Page 7 of the quick reference guide , it shows the operating range to be 10m.
would not think this is adjustable.

Thanks. I thought the auto unlock feature would only work much nearer.

The 10m range is for the remote itself. I am referring to the passive entry system where the car recognises a remote approaching and unlocks the doors. It's this range I am looking for.

I think that feature only works when your hand is inside the door handle...so you have to be at point blank range and your hand needs to be within the door handle. I'm sure they have it that way so that the doors are accidentally unlocked if you happen to be close to the car

Thanks Rich. It's the magic button on the handle that works it. I had assumed just being a certain distance away locked or unlocked.
