Hey all,

Im new to this forum but I have seen that some have expressed interest in resetting the maintenance light on their Maserati. I have a 2016 SQ4 and have bought a tool to take care of the light. If anyone wants to reset I would be willing to send the tool to them. I only need it 3 times for the 3 years ill have the car so I was hoping to recoup some of the cost. win win for everyone. The dealer in my area (Buffalo, NY) charges $450 for an oil change. I changed my oil for $80 plus this tool. Don't pay the dealer to do it when its such an easy oil change.

Just want to update everyone on this. At this point I have been renting out the tool for over a year and a half and it has reset over 50 maserati's of all years and models. I am continuing this service because everyone seems to appreciate it, so if you need to reset your lights, email me at [email protected].

Ok I reset the service wrench light with tool.
How do I now check that the next reset date is actually now June 2020?

Just wanted to do a quick shout-out to anthony... i arranged to borrow the tool last week and all went exactly as planned. He was quick to respond - even on the weekend, was very helpful with all my questions, was very quick with the refund, and was a pleasure to deal with.

Strongly suggest you connect with him should you need to borrow the tool - saved me from buying one that i would use once or twice at most.

Still need some help how to see new service reset date and miles after using X-200 to reset.
Wrench light is off however I’d like to verify new date. Thanks

Scroll to second menu (speed displayed scroll down) - this should be tyre pressure. Then press the scroll wheel 3 times, through oil temp and gearbox temp and the final screen is service date. If the spanner has gone it will have reset to a year from now.

Wow thanks- I never knew there was any information beyond the tire pressure!
I can confirm now that the X-200 I bought off eBay reset the maintenance data in less than 5 minutes.

Glad you confirmed the information. It looks like the big seller for this unit is Maserati ... saw on Amazon most comments / questions were Maserati vehicle related.

Hi Titleist,
Here it is

You have to use the Petrol function to reset the dash.
But if it is a Diesel one, you will not be able to reset it in the ECU it self, however the dash will be reset as in the video.

To reset the oil % and mileage to 20 000km in the ECU ( because Diesel's have DPF's), you'll have to use a Launch 431.

A member of this forum mentioned that a Chrysler 12+8 cable would do the trick on the more recent models.

Just bought the Harbor Freight unit and it doesn’t work for maserati.
