Hi does Maserati ghibli diesel 2014 share rear brake pads with any other car makes ?

Hi, most likely this is typical of the FCA group to use parts from either Fiat, Alfa, Lancia or Jeep.
I've got the 2017 model, so I cannot really help you on this.

But look here they're cheap enough.

Hi Martin, all Maserati parts are expensive.
I always try to find alternative parts, for servicing mine, I have found a few.

It is weird that you have to change yours already, the shoes should last for ever as they're only used for parking.

Hi Fredvr. I don't think they need doing yet. but I got a good deal. front and back disc and front pads for £460. So when they need doing I'm ready to go when I get rear pads. By the way I just love my car. Makes me feel special when driving it 😊

Hi Martin, OK I understand why now.
Pretty good deal 460 for front and rear. disks and pads.
Yes I agree, I love the car too, however I found it sluggish as standard, so I remapped it and closed the EGR valve, the car is now a different one altogether, much more punchy and no stoppage of OOMPH till 4200 revs.
I also installed a Maxhaust module to get a better exhaust sound.
