I have a Maserati ghibli SQ4 2014, when I was driving home my car went into limp mode. Where it didnt go above a certain RPM. Said something along the lines "Serv. Trans find to continue in D suitable place to park you may not be able to shift again". So I continue home stopped the car and turned it off. Park would not engage either would the E Brake! After hitting the power off the car decided to turn back on interior power only. It is stuck in the "Run" only and in order to get it off "Run" i have to disconnect the power from the battery terminal. After doing that and reconnecting the battery the car stays off but once I hit the push button it goes back to "Run" and holding the brake and clicking run again makes it do a loop.

So I took an OBD Scanner and found out there is two issues with the first one is TCM U0101
20779

The the second is a communication with the brake module U0129

Is your battery the original or been replaced? We've seen the same codes from a bad battery.

I have the same problems but I replace the battery from auto zone do I have to get the original one.
You don't need the same OEM battery. Auto Zone can match your requirements. You can chose the lower cost standard battery or the AGM which is a better battery for most climates. I replaced mine with an Interstate brand AGM which is what most dealers will use.

Battery was replaced in car the fuse blown again even after replacement battery! They think it’s a loose wire to the TCM. Cantech is my repair shop in Syracuse NY they work on exotics. Even they don’t know how to fix lol. They said to bring to a maserati dealership.

Sorry to hear. I guess the closest Maserati dealer is in Rochester, NY? A former Maserati mechanic who now works at an independent shop is 3+ hours from you. He used to be active on forum, but hasn't logged on for 10 months. He's done work for several forum members with good feedback. You might try a PM to him or call if you want a second option or opinion to the dealer.
