Both are really nice cars, not to mention the area you reside!!!
I also have both Maserati and Jaguar, (even though my Ghibli is a nice weather car, the Jag is less driven since it is an older XKR convertible for warm weather). The Jag's now come with some nice engines ... which I wouldn't mind as an option in my Ghibli).
Its 2015 Q4, I have had it for 5 years now. Over 130k miles! lol I know I drive a lot, especially in LA, its my daily drive. No major issues apart from routine maintenance which I do it myself at home.
