I’ve noticed that “The Penguin” (Batman) tv series is due to come out in 2024… with the Penguins car being an older variant of the Maserati Ghibli, could this potentially result in a price increase for the used Ghibli market?

Definitely no, especially if they are using the 70s Ghibli, which is nothing like the modern Ghibli. The modern Ghibli was a mass produced car. And there's really nothing special about it unlike GTs/prev-gen QPs, that were produced in much smaller volumes and had a legit Ferrari V8 engine. The modern Ghibli was featured in Fast and Furious 7. And that did pretty much nothing to help values, just more brand exposure because FCA was trying to move units.

It's hard to tell during the fast scenes, but The Penguin's car appears to be a current generation Maserati Quattroporte.

Beerguy is on the money...Quattroporte it is...and 'no' I can't imagine the film will boost used Quattroprte /Ghibli prices.

For what it's worth, we went to the theater to see Fast and Furious 7 because it had a Ghibli in it. Nobody except us Ghibli owners seemed to even notice. No chatter about it online, nothing.

That looks like a pre-facelift ghibli with a body kit to me, not a QP. QP has different headlights.

But what this exposure will do is further fuel the stereotype that maseratis are for bad guys and gangsters lol. The "bad guy" (Jason Statham) in Furious 7 drove a Ghibli.

It's supposed to be a 2013 Maserati Quattroporte (M156). Although, as typical there were several used to complete the movie. Fair to say they could have used both figuring who would care ... its a Maserati.

Your right ChiTownMaser...the one in my pic upon closer inspection is a Ghibli...no quarter light window side rear & grill & lights wrong for Ghibli.
