I am the original purchaser of both products. I have only used them on my vehicle, so no, 2 tunes have not been used. The box is plug andplay eith the tune adjustments already loaded. The GTS tuner box has 7 settings that start from the base tune. You increase the settings until you find one that you are happy with. It has more to do with the vehicle running and shiftly smoothly. It simply adjusts air/fuel and timing in incriments so that it can adjust to any mods you may have.

The 2 pieces worked flawlessly for me. Made a HUGE difference, night and day for that turbo lag. Power is instantaneous. No more delays for taking off or lane changes..
