To fully appreciate the S Q4 (and S), what roads do you like?

1. To really open it up -- Autobahn (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQbcQMiVtoc)

2. To appreciate the handling -- i.e., the twisties

For me the best roads for handling are in Switzerland and Italy:

1. Susten Pass (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2b41ACtX7E)
2. Grimsel Pass (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2b41ACtX7
3. Stelvio Pass (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiHL4-7VTkc)

Top Gear rates Stelvio Pass the best road but it is often too crowded.

In the U.S., one of my favorite roads for handling (translated -- limited speed) is West Huron River Drive between Ann Arbor and Dexter, Mi.

Unfortunately we do not have the autobahn or those great roads in the Alps but there are many nice twistys thoroughout the US. In NJ I go to a road that runs 30 miles next to the Delaware river from frenchtown to trenton. I am going to the track to open her up hopefully on May 18th!!

A nice Evo tv episode in regards to driving roads.

The greatest driving road in the world? | evo - YouTube

Right in my backyard :D Unfortunately more and more tourists now know of them and they sometimes get crowded especially during the holiday season. Was a well kept secret until Top Gear publicized them, by naming the Transfagarasan Highway as the best driving road. The Stelvio Pass was the best prior to them changing their minds.

Another amazing driving road is Route Napoleon in France. In France I would also mention Col de Turini. I've also driven on the roads that cut across the Pyrenees mountains, absolutely stunning!!!

Is that route 29 you're referring to? Are the pot holes there reasonably minimal? I'm not too far away from that and am always looking for new roads to rev 'er up on. Tough after this past winter to find the right mix of great road and no pot holes!

I'm thinking that sound in either the Lehigh Valley Tunnel or Baltimore Harbor Tunnel would be better than seeing Led Zeppelin live

If you can't drive the Stelvio then wouldn't you want to drive here?
