I was hoping to get everyone's input on putting 21" winter tires (Pirreli Sottozero 3) instead of buying separate dedicated smaller wheels. Cost is not the issue, I am more concerned about traction or lack thereof. I just like the way the current 21" wheels look and would much prefer them on year round.

I live in Montreal, Canada and our winters are brutal.

Thanks!

I have the 20" with Sottozero 3 as a separate dedicated set for winter, so no experience with 21". I'm in Pennsylvannia and don't plan on driving in lots of snow. If I was going to drive in snow (like in Montreal) I would get the Pirelli Carving Edge winter tires if available ... they are more aggressive in snow and there are a few posts of satisfaction with those in snowy areas.
